Hi, my name is Lainy7! I had my total knee replacement 4 weeks ago and really struggling...

Hello Im new to this group, I had my total knee replacement 4 weeks ago and really struggling with it all, trying my best to do exercises, bending it is a nightmare the pain is sickening Im managing to walk with crutches, sleep is almost impossible, Im going for a bit of extra physio again as told it would help but am really dreading it as they really push you and its agony, Im just hoping it will get better with time and patience and a positive attitude it just doesn't feel like it at the moment, I feel very alone.

Welcome @Lainy7 and thank you so much for sharing. It's a long process and the physio is very important for the long-term function from what I recall with family members who have had a knee replacement, but it's not an easy journey so I feel for you. Are you speaking to a specialist/GP regularly to check in?
