Everyone is getting a review. The kind where you send 4 months' bank statements and your photo ID.
Only those who have high balances or discrepancies on the submitted 4 months statements will go through an enhanced review.

Hi @anisty
Seen Kimi posted this on another thread. Seen this link where not only everyone is getting a review.
No idea she hasn’t true or not.https://askcpag.org.uk/?id=210155&_gl=18upym1_gaMTQ2MTg4Mjg4My4xNzQ1ODgzOTIz_ga_64Z2B618ZP*MTc0NTg4MzkyMi4xLjEuMTc0NTg4MzkzNS4wLjAuMA..

I have read widely around this. My understanding is that they are working their way through all claimants. It is part of Labour's crackdown on fraud. They recruited 2000 new staff at the end of 2024 and now have 6000 staff working full time checking claims.
They are looking for 2 things
1 excess capital
2 people who don't spend enough time in the UK to maintain claim eligibility.
Google "Polaris House, Swindon" and that should turn up some info. You can research deeply as I have and find out what they're up to!!

Honestly believe there is so much misinformation. Who do you believe. I seen someone on Reddit “verified” DWP staff member saying everyone on legacy benefits before was asked for bank statements every 6 months. That’s not true as I’ve been on ESA for a number of years like since 2010 and have never been asked for a bank statement review on ESA. I’m not saying ESA bank statement reviews did not happen as I’ve seen them happen in the past. But not every 6 months as this person is mentioning. I didn’t fit the criteria they were looking for if that was the case.
