How do I work out if I'm able to claim any UC?

Hi, I am unsure of what my benefit situation will be going forward until there is more clarity on the government benefit changes. I am on old style cb esa and dla. I have some savings though and decided to try and find out whether I would actually able to claim any UC in the future but I'm getting confused as to how to work it out as I get different answers on the turn2us test. I live in a family members home which is in their name. How best do I work it out?

The benefit calculators rely on accurate information going in, so you have to be careful what you input.
A trained benefits advisor or the Scope helpline can assist you with benefit calculations:
Or you could try Citizens Advice, who have a dedicated help to claim service, they can offer support before, during and after a claim.

OK thank you. I'm not putting a claim in at present as i need to wait and see what is happening with the government changes but I was curious to find out if I'm actually entitled to anything due to having some savings. I will check out your links.

Citizens Advice can still assist you with a benefits calculation 😊

If your savings are over £16,000 then no, if they're over £6,000 then maybe, but there will be a deduction for your savings and for your ESA which may mean you won't be able to but it depends how high your savings are ❤️ Anything under 6000 is ignored
