Going back into employment

The very though of searching and having a job scares me and I don't know if i'm ready to go back into employment, It's been two decades and more. I'm not sure what i should do, i get really anxious and overwhelmed at job interviews, not know what to expert, and starting anew. I'm in my middle 40s and have not have much work experience, have done training and workshops after i have left secondary school, ie IT courses, short course painting & decorating, brick work course have been looking after my parent after that time
