Closed U C account correctly?

Good Morning All,
B1oth myself and my hubby have been into the online journal this morning and closed our accounts down in this way can anyone let us know we have done this correctly please.
Firstly we both in our journals informed our work coach in detail.
Then scrolling to the bottom choose close account down in the last section other and again in detail our reason for closing put detailed information in there.
My husband has contacted his private pension and is taking a lump sum of over 20,000 and we are waiting for that to go into our bank it should not be long.
How and will they action this at there end the UC l am hopeing it has been done correctly, then we can delete the account
Thank you have a blessed day all ..

Hi @Daphers
It sounds like you’ve taken the right steps by messaging your work coach and using the “close account” option. If you want to make sure it's processed, you can call the universal credit helpline to confirm but it is best to not delete the account yet and wait until they finish processing and you get confirmation☺️

Update on closing down my UC account during review so on the journal l told my coach and close down option for both myself and husband 4 messages in all and have recieved messages back
Telphone appointments for myself and hubby cancelled
Review completed
Claim completely closed down
I can no longer contact through the journal only see the above last comment
We feel lucky that we are in a position to take the lump sum pension although the tax office will take 5,000 off us?
This website has saved my life l have suffered extreme anxiety for almost 30 years and think it will always be with me l had been learning to live with it through councilling and my supportive husband.
Hopefully we can now get on with our twighlight years thank you to everyone, have a blessed day, and dare l say please try not to worryx
