ZT500 battery charger split, any ideas please?

I’ve got the ZT500 but the on the batter charger transformer box has split,

Need to

Open the box to repair it but it won’t split apart, any ideas please?

sorry, the wire has split that goes into the transformer box

Can you replace this wire yourself, do you have knowledge of electrical engineering and the ability to solder and weld?

If the parts in the box are filled with compound, then with a certain amount of skill the compound can be carefully removed.
