Hi. My ex partner was claiming carers for me and over 2 months ago he was no longer able to so the carers is cancelled. I rang esa about adding SDP onto my esa claim and I've heard nothing whatsoever. I have been on the phone for 52 minutes today and then just got cut off. I had to involve the local mp when I was trying to close carers and the lady who helped told me to contact scope with my issues of claiming SDP. I am not good with my mental health and being on the phone for nearly an hour to just be cut off has sent my anxiety sky high. Please can anyone help? Thank you.

Which ESA do you receive, income-based or contributions-based? Do you receive any other benefits than PIP and ESA?

What happened when you called ESA before? The SDP form is a very simple one that should have been done over the phone at the time.

I am on income based. I am also in receipt of pip. I rang them twice and on 2nd call she did the form. But still heard nothing back that was 2 months ago
