Advise on review times and how they work.

Hi Peeps, just agtwr some advise really. So my pip runs out end of December, they've sent me my forms, I've filled it all out in as much detail as I can, enclosed my own scans pics, and even typed up a letter explaining everything about my ongoing condition, as my handwriting is awful, and didn't want the assessors not to be able to understand it 🤣, basically all I want to know is, do peoples awards usually carry on if they've got slightly worse? Do people get reassessed? Also how long do these take right now? As I've read some old forums saying it could take years lol. Many thanks 😊

@eddiegray1988 did you add your National Insurance number to your typed letter? Hard questions to answer, usually people's PIP awards carry on if their condition is worse, but not all the time. People get reassessed at the end of their current PIP award length. Reviews can take a month to 12 months.

Thank for your reply. Yes I did, name and nation insurance on each added price of paper as I was told to do lol. Thats fair. I just wondered on timeframes on reviews at this sort of current time lol.

Good! Just stay calm and wait as there is a backlog. One forum member has waited a year for an assessment not the decision....
