First esa payment

hi, my SSP is ending on the 2 June , when will my esa payment start & will I get a letter confirming as I haven’t here anything yet

It might be an idea to phone ESA to check up on what is happening 0800 169 0310.

thanks for your reply , Iv now spoke to them but they can’t tell me when my payments will start , Iv also had a call off the job centre Friday to Agree to commitment's ,they also said they don’t know when my first payment will be (I don’t have any work commitments after the call ) does this make a difference to what group I will be in or will I need to fill in a health assessment form & have an assessment, any help would be much appreciated as Iv had my last sick pay now and I’m worried as to when I will get any money of esa Thanks and wishing everyone well

Hopefully after your commitments appointment the assessment rate payments will start.

thanks for reply & information, should I get a letter telling me what’s going on or will I just start getting payments, I don’t understand why when Iv asked when my payments will start they say they can’t tell me, surely they should know this & tell me, thanks again
