Hi @sophie2002
If your journal says the review is complete and there’s no change then this usually means they’ve finished assessing your current claim based on the information they have.
However, they can still ask for more documents later and if they do then they’ll put any requests in your journal and give you 14 days to respond so you should keep an eye on your journal in case they ask for evidence😊1 -
How do I do the coc i tried but came out cos it confused me she didnt explain properly so do I put what's in my bank account now and then it takes me to savings do I then add all my details and the amount that was in when she told me is this what I do I dont want to make a mess who will ask for further evidence the Lady I spoke to even thought the review is complete x

I'm glad to hear the call was easy enough in the end. 🙂
Have you found the right page on UC?
When you get the right page, it asks your main account - put down the exact balance in there today.
Then it asks if you have any savings account. Click yes. Then put '1' in the box where it asks how many.
Then it'll ask for the exact amount in that account today. And it will also ask for the name of the bank and the last 4 numbers of the account number.
Then it will ask if you have any disregarded savings - click 'none of these'.
Then that should be the end. You can read through to make sure you've put the right numbers for each account balance. Then click 'finish' or similar.
That's it, that's all you need to do. It looks worse written down than when you actually do it. Then when you get the next UC statement come through, at the bottom it will show you how much savings you declared. As long as that number is less than £6000, your payments will still be exactly the same as always. 🙂

But should i out the col payments or just leave it alone

I dont want to rock the boat with this ive messed up once but if I out in the col payments will it trigger if j dont fill it in will it make any difference as I dont understand any of it

Forget col payments, just put in how much is in your main account and your savings account, that's it simple.

For you specifically, I would recommend ignoring the COL payments altogether. Just put the exact amount in your accounts today into the two boxes.
There is no box for COL payments, so they just cause more hassle and are only worth deducting if you had more than £6000 total. We know from previous threads you only have around £3000 total. So you do not need the hassle of COL payments in your case.

I don't understand why she has been asked to do a coc,she has uploaded her bank statements which shows she's under 6k, uc have updated her journal to say her claim review is complete and there is no change to her uc?
I wouldn't do a coc myself unless they have asked for it on her journal or she is confused and has been told to do a coc if she goes over 6k?

She asked about all accounts i had told her I had 1 bank account she then said do I have savings i said yes it was on my statements i downloaded im not going to lie to them they can clearly see it in front of them all my documents i sent they even had my paypal they asked me about that but it said ir just to pay for items online they asked about rent etc which i dont have as i live with my parents told them i pay board wouldnt all of my documents been in front of her today she said i should declare a savings account today but she said I have 7 days to report it she gave me 31st of Aprils balance to put in apparently so im goingvtk do what she's told me to do and the savings it's a new thing even if you have any new accounts you haven't told them about you have to declare them alm now its a new thing it says my review is complete and no changes but did keep repeating that if anyone needs more documents they will send me a message on my journal then saidbif they investigate and ive got over payments i could have my payments stopped reduced or prosecuted I just hope when I put everything in they dont as this has made me so ill x

As far as I'm aware, it is a requirement to provide UC with all account info, even if below £6k.
This isn't actually a change of circumstances though. That was worded poorly as well. I have to put my savings in every month as I'm over £6k and it's not a proper change. It just automatically updates the savings number on the deductions part of the statement. No-one at UC even looks at it as far as I can tell.

Did you manage to put your savings in ok yesterday? It really is very easy when you see it.

If they do check back I still dont understand this unspent amount of benefits as when the women told me she was obviously looking at 31st of April which left 55 in my bank account and 2950 in my savings which =3005 how would I do this ive tried adding unspent money every month but doing this over 12 months with my savings it takes me over 6k but it still makes no sense cos you get told to add unspent to savings if I did that every month it would be over 6k its so confusing and worrying me now xxx

For the last time forget about unspent benefits!
If under 6k every month you have nothing to report it's as simple as that!
I always have money left over from the previous month but I never get anywhere near 6k in savings,i can add money together left over from the last 6 months of uc & pip payments and still don't have 6k in my accounts!

I tried doing that iver a 12 month adding up my balance left in my bank on 31st and it came to 1800 then obviously my savings account fluctuates every month so it harder to work out ive had all col payments and jve had back pay of lwrca and pip in mid 2022 till mid 23, im guessing if they do ask for statements they will do it all and tell me if ive been overpaid anywhere and then go from there if your savings go down do u tell them they can have all my statements ive nothing to hide im just stupid and honestly made a big mistake I know they dont care and will just want there money back when I put my new savings in will they still pay me when im due my payment x

How much have you got in both accounts now?
0 -
Right now I have 124 in my bank account and just under 3k in my savings account x

The Lady told me to put in ebd of aprils amount though so j will do that as that's what was said over phone and the calls are recorded x

So you do not have to report anything because you are under 6k!
