HI I missed unscheduled cold call from health professional regarding my pip claim .when phone back a recorded message said who they were and they would call back if they needed to,so I emailed them and the response was there conducting a paper review and seeking medical reports and they may call back , I don’t understand why they never arranged a phone call and secondly if it’s a paper review they may call back surely it’s important for them to contact me but why the cool reply

With paper based assessments the calls are not scheduled because it is not a full assessment.

hi kimi87 the thing is if I hadn’t of pinged an email id be none the wiser and I’m concerned they won’t phone back

If the medical reports they are seeking contain enough information, they might not need to call back.

Paper assessments are completed with either minimal or no further input from the claimant.
