New State Pension less than my ESA support group
I am currently in receipt of ESA (support group) + severe disability premium + enhanced disability premium. I am also in receipt of PIP and Housing Benefit. I recently received a letter informing me that I will be entitled to the New State Pension within the next four months. My entitlement to ESA will then cease. The letter informs me that I will be receiving the full rate of the New State Pension. The full rate of the pension is below the amount I am currently receiving from my entitlement to ESA.
Will I be able to top up my pension to my current rate of ESA? And if so - how?
Thanks

You can apply for Pension Credit, because you get PIP there is a greater chance of an award (compared to just state pension which definitely won't qualify).
