PREVENTING INDEPENDENT PAYMENT is more apt for we all know the nature of the beast who does not know disability. How do i tell PIP what i do not know as cannot remember cannot articulate cannot explain cannot understand cannot cope cannot manage cannot express. cannot understand myself i have provided symptoms provided diagnoses when told diagnoses are not required then pip mentions absence of such in stating why they turned me down. provided side affects provided permission for access to medical records then 2015 info is used 10 yrs later to dictate to me how i am managing with aids even if i say i cannot. i provided a chaotic account with shaky hands of all of that has befallen me is my disability story to be told my version of daytime living dilemas is an exageration. do not understand as i lack both the abilility the capacity and the tools to produce. after 36 yrs of my 76 spent managing more than one issue in health i have it inbedded in me any stragedies coping mechanisms are not to us of yesteryear immediately identified lost in the struggles of daily life not for us to ponder on these matters. i at my age do not have the mind set of this generation to equip me in replying we just got on with it. Yes pip we are impacted because we are disabled unable. Yes pip every condition affects every activity thats what disabled means. YES we do feel pain its the nature of most conditions. YES we do work through pain its what disabled people do. Applying a criteria of safety timely adequately repeatedly is unworkable. First know what and who you are dealing with instead of expecting your clients to be capable of cutting up food if they tap with 1 finger on pc or because they drive can also get into bath with same hand movements except its not same. you do not and cannot know us in our disability if you believe your own advice.

Thank you for sharing this. You’re not alone, a lot of people here feel the same way about PIP. It can be so hard trying to explain things when you’re struggling with memory, pain, or just don’t have the words. Lots of our members have expressed feeling judged, or experienced being told they're fine just because they can do one small, and seemingly unrelated, thing. im on top of it now after years under pip. yes i know. its set up to fail. if 2 are in opposition fundamentally at odds pip are master so in power we are servants so only equipped to serve the required aim cannot be achieved maybe needs a disabled orator to be a master and serve those in need. for me god alone is master
