Help with rudeness from family members..

so as of today, and other days, I get told that my “tone” of voice is rude. And when I try and stick up for myself and say no I’m not, I get yelled at or shouted at by my mum or brother.
today for example, very tired so I slept, my mum came in saying dinner literally no warning at all just barging into my room, knowing I was sleeping. I literally just woke up. And she says “tone” I’m like I’ve just woken up I’ve done nothing wrong.
Then my brother screams my name at the top of his voice. I genuinely am starting to hate living here. I can’t even defend myself..

Deal with family can be difficult at the best of times. I don't live with my mum anymore, however she works for me as one P.A. she can be like this with me. Ask me to one thing then start going on at me about all sorts of stuff. Just can't win to be honest, whatever I do isn't do enough! You're not alone, not sure what solution is? Xxx

@ryleyyg I can sympathise your situation i know what feels like I too have that problem I yelled at because I was trying to turn off my laptop and go down for dinner but because I have Cerebral palsy I can't rush because I'm at risk of falling I wish I could just disappear sometimes but I can't and it's really very frustrating. I too have the situation when people shout at me for no reason and really isn't what you want us it? All you want is just to be left alone i completely understand your situation hsve you tried speaking to your Dr's? I'd be happy to talk with you farther if you'd like. My names Emily by the way @pooleemily29

my best bet is just to save up and move out to be honest. No other solution.

@ryleyyg what about having a chat with a dr about how it making you feel? I'm they'd point you in the right direction. Xx @pooleemily29

I could do that, but appointments will take ages.

@ryleyyg yeah they do don't they? I found that what about phoning NHS 111 and speaking to them and see if they can get you in to speak to a dr that's what I needed. Just an idea. Xx @pooleemily29

another incident for example it is my 20th birthday tomorrow. And I had to look after my step mum’s dog on Saturday while they went to holiday 🙄
I didn’t have to do it. But I got no thank you or anything from my dad or my step mum.. but they moaned at me because I took the birthday cards with me and forgot to give there dog fresh water, I apologized and said sorry. But he still had water I just forgot. I thought I was allowed to have the birthday cards since mines tomorrow. But guess not until tomorrow.. not that I care about my birthday anyways. Cuz it’s boring.
They’ve really made me annoyed and upset, got no thank you or anything, I really don’t wanna celebrate my birthday tomorrow as I’m gonna have to get the train all the way to theirs, again.. because they retell pick me up, apparently 20 minutes away is too long for them. I genuinely don’t care about my birthday at all. I just want to be left alone.

@ryleyyg Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. I can understand how unsettling it must be for you but honestly if you'd like someone to talk to I'm always here you could send me a private message just click on my ID photo and you'll see it there 😉 haven't you got any friends you can talk to at all? It's fine if you more comfortable being on your own tbh I prefer my own company to so I get where your coming from. I like to spend my time in my room reading or whatever I want like to i don't have any friends but one who I also met on here he's helped me. Would you like someone to talk to? We could talk about anything you like your hobbies perhaps look the offers if you want it. OK 😉😉 @pooleemily29

Stay calm and Count to 10… try to forgive them. Try not to let them get you down. Then at a different time.. ask them to treat you the same way they would like to be treated.
