Awarded LCWRA

Hi can someone please help me here,
I was awarded LCWRA today. My first fit note was February 20th and my usual pay date is the 11th I also reported the health change on the 20th. Can anyone tell me if the first payment will be in my June one? If not does the extra days for whats not included in the first three month get added on in July?
thanks

UC don't do partial payments.
Based on the information given, my estimate of your timeline would be:
February/March: Partial Assessment Period not counted for waiting period
March/April: AP 1
April/May: AP 2
May/June: AP 3
June/July: Eligible for LCWRA element
July 11th: First LCWRA element paid.

thanks for this information, do you no if when in the June/July assessment period would you be able to get a change of circumstances advance against the LCWRA element?

I don't know the answer to that one.
I should have said your timeline does depend on there being no gaps in providing Fit Notes, it's the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Hi @lyleprest - if there haven't been any gaps in your fit notes, then there's 3 full months (looking at your assessment periods which will be from the 5th of one month to the 4th of the next) before the extra LCWRA element is paid, so the 3 full months will be Mar-Apr, Apr-May & May -Jun.
As the LCWRA element is paid in arrears, then payment is due from 5 Jun -4 Jul & will be paid on 11 Jul. This also assumes you're not living with a partner who already has the LCWRA element.
