Pip renewal

Can anyone please tell me that if I have an award until January 2026 and have just received a renewal form that had to be sent back by 23rd June 2025, if I am rejector PIP or my daily living or mobility is reduced do I still get me award payments until January 2026, thanks

Hi @ShadowLily64, Your current PIP award will continue until a decision is made on your review. Once a decision is made on your review, it will override your old award and you'd start receiving the new amount after that.
If you're still waiting for an assessment or decision after your award runs out in January 2026, you'd carry on getting your current payments for as long as it takes them to make a new decision.
Hope your review goes well ☺️

Thank you for clarifying that with me, just also wondered if I should go into detail with this renewal form or keep it basic because I gave them every detail on my last form which I applied for because of change of circumstances mentally and physically and ended up with the high daily living and high mobility, although my medication has now been changed and physically things have got worse should I just say nothings changed, thanks

Hi @ShadowLily64 - you should give as much detailed info as you have done previously rather than just saying nothing has changed. There's not much space on these forms, so do add extra pages putting your name & National Insurance number at the top on each of these clearly saying which question you're answering/continuing from.
You should note what your medication is currently & describe in what way your physical condition has worsened if this makes attempting/doing any of the activities worse, or if you're left in more pain afterwards.

Hello new to this forum, sent my pip review forms in october, I didn't go into much detail on the review forms, also didn't send any more new evidence, got a phone call on 27 may to ask me a question about a hospital stay and was told that's all they needed to question, I was getting a paper review, and I would get my decision a week later, and exactly a week later it arrived and award has stayed the same and awarded till 2029, I've heard a lot of people having successful paper reviews
