Regarding migration to UC FROM ESA

hi all I’m just wondering if I could get some guidance/ advice.
So currently I claim esa and housing benefit and I’ve had a letter to migrate to UC
I didn’t claim child tax credit due to my child been born after it had changed to UC CHILD ELEMENT so I was unable to claim it due to having to wait to be moved over. I’m just wondering if I will be entitled to child element when I’ve migrated over to uc even though I didn’t claim child tax credit
