jjust done coc re child dla high rate care to pip high rate care

in jornal says child needs to be verifild re coc to pip

I already get child disabiloty and carers elements ,my statement is due 22 of each month

if my child is not verifild will child disability payment stop then start again so worried I feel that payments will continue but hey ho

pls advise x

When you make a change of circumstances to a child on your claim, it is normal practice for them to reverify the child (both through child benefit, and then again to verify the PIP or DLA award). This can usually be done very quickly and it should not impact your payments.

If they have not verified the PIP before your statement date, it may mean you won't receive the disabled child element, but once they verify your child they should owe you this money back.

already in receipt of disabiloty child element from dla so thought it should just continue as in receipt of pup now pip first payment on Wednesday then uc 26 of June

I made the coc on 3 June was told on uc helpline my uc is still li e with elements but was worried re verification
