Hi, my name is paulhooperwaterways! DWP have told me they have applied for severe disability premium

DWP have told me they have applied for severe disability premium for me and it will be backdated.ls this from when attendance allowance was granted,,or applied for? Please? how long does it take,money is very very tight.Twice I have spoken with DWP but they say it's fast forwarded, but its still several weeks! I don't like keep ringing them.

Hi @paulhooperwaterways welcome to the community. Was it recently you were awarded attendance allowance? I wouldn't like to say for certain as it depends on the circumstances, when this was identified and why. It's promising that they've fast tracked this though. Hopefully you'll get some news soon.
