Pip award.

Hello, I have had a change of circumstances, awarded £558 through 2029, I'm 61 in July and very content with that but, I have been on pip 12+ years. In the Mixing with other people I'm still on 2 points. I sent them my diagnosis of ADHD, I'm at the top end.

Had it all my life now just glad to see it on paper and to know I'm not actually stupid. I take many meds for various problems including my anxiety. So, my award increased though not through the mixing with other people.

For example my youngest son is getting married later in the year, I'm taking a best friend because I cant cope with these types of situations. I'm wondering if I should get in touch and mention this as its something that has happened all my life, they have the ADHD report.

I'm due a little back dated award of about £200 though I havent received the letter confirming how much and when, just that it is being looked into?

Being content should I leave it?

Thanks folks.

Stuart.

    Hi,

It doesn't matter where the points were scored. If you got 12 points across the Daily Living section for an Enhanced Award then there is nothing to be gained at all by appealing it now.
