Lcw / lcwra
Can Someone help me with my question.
I only get LCW for severe anxiety and depression and I also have stage 3 copd ( never smoked BTW ).
I'm expected to attend job centre for future work. C.O.P.D does not get better. But only get LCW
Someone I know that gets full lcwra but has a job.
How does this work.

Hey @andylfc71 people with LCWRA don't have to attend any work focused activities, whilst those found LCW will still have to do those. If you feel you should be getting LCWRA, you can ask for a reassessment, or for a mandatory reconsideration if you've only just got the award.
Work is allowed on LCWRA, but it will affect the amount of UC they get and also if the work they're doing contradicts the reason for them having LCWRA, then it can be removed.

Thanks for the reply. I understand that. But I'm no longer fit for work due to deteriorating health,
but Dwp discriptor says I'm fit to enough go work based activities like doing c.vs or attending further education to help find work. When someone is able to work but gets full benefits.

Reassessments aren't taking place due to backlog the focus is on new claimants and change of health circumstances
