Hi, my name is LadyMalta! can I claim carers allowance?

I am on full AA. Allowance and need 24 hrs care, I am in the falls clinic, Breathing space and cannor walk unaided unless accompanied by my husband.
also have underlying entitlements need help with toilet falls in the night. should this be enough for a carers allowance we are bot 86 yrs old

Based on what you’ve described it sounds like your husband would qualify for Carer’s Allowance or an underlying entitlement as it sounds like he may be providing more than 35 hours a week of care which is part of eligibility
Is your husband claiming a state pension? If he is then he may not get the full payment but it could still help increase other benefits like Pension Credit.
