Transition from esa support group to universal credit

hello am looking for some advice please my question is I finally got appointment with money advice though it’s only 2 days before my migration to UC will that give enough time to apply. Or can i contact UC to ask for more time and would this effect my claim and payment, it would be greatly appreciated any help

You can still apply for UC after your migration date but it’s best to do it as soon as possible to avoid delays in payments. If you think you won’t have enough time to gather everything for your claim then you can contact universal credit and explain your situation. Sometimes they can allow a bit more time without affecting your claim!
