Awarded LCWRA
hello
I’ve been awarded LCWRA today and I’m trying to work out when it’ll arrive and how much?
Fit notes started dated 13/01/2025, but not sent in until 07/02/2025 (new claimant to UC so no idea about half this stuff) so I assumed that takes me to 7th May for the 3 months waiting period?
No gaps in fit notes
My assessment periods are 6-5th each month with payments arriving 12th which then means June 12th I should’ve received extra money, but I’ll get that as backpay and then from 12th July it’ll be in my regular UC payments?
I have also been told verbally that I got ESA too, but nothing in writing / email about that. Should I have received something about that too? It was a while ago I had a phone conversation about it, or is that tied into my health assessment?
many thanks!

Heya @baranigirl welcome to the community. 😊
Congratulations on the award, that must be ahuge weight off your mind?
LCWRA has a 3 month period before payments start. It starts from the assessment period after your first sick note. so if your assessment date was the 13th May and the sick note was from the 14th April, it would start from the assessment date after the 13th May. Hopefully that makes sense?0 -
