Moving forward

I am under cmht and awaiting to start one to one to be able to progress my fears due to trauma to move towards sustainable independant life . Over coming varriers crated by trauma.
The trauma I have has an impact for example I have ptsd and relive the event and has made me housebound.
Reliving the event on occassion I have thought the person in front of me is my attacker.
I have been asking sychology to change my meds for 5 months and lost valuable time to progress as a consequence as in a state of crisis.
If I was to involve cqc in events which I feel valid and also others have stated a duty ofcare wasn't being Carr mind out. Would it effect myncmht support I am currently receiving or change my care in a negative way

Hi @charlie79 I'd really like to hope not. You should be able to raise important concerns without that having a negative impact on the care you receive and if that does happen, I'd be highlighting that to the CQC immediately. I'm sure this body would act on this to protect your needs.

It shouldn't do on paper, but in practice the risk exists thanks to unconscious bias. If you're going to complain, make sure you have some level of support outside of mental health services first (even peer support like friends and family).

I absolutely understand I seen a Psychiatrist and it has left me broken the way she spoke I left not knowing what would happen left in limbo I have complained stating caused me more trauma also weaning Mr of amtriplyine but refusing sleeping tablets so I think you have every right to ask or question why your request for medication was ignored was there a reason a lack of communication it's hard trying to help ourselves and expressing what works for us not being validated or explained why it's your right I really hope you resolve I'm waiting to see what meds I get on Wednesday I hope you resolve sometimes we have to advocate for ourselves more than one time I hope your therapy helps
