LCWRA/Medical report

Hi all!

I’ve had an entry on my NHS app from my GP surgery. It says ‘Medical report received (9EV..) - Universal Credit’.

I’m guessing this could be to do with my claim for LCWRA but I don’t know if it could be a bad thing/good thing/neutral?

I did send a lot of very detailed evidence in for my claim, including medical records, letter from my GP, occupational therapy reports, referral to secondary mental health care letter etc. I would hope that the amount of evidence I sent in would mean I would have a paper based assessment only.

Is this report sent to my GP practice normal practice?

Also, I do sell the odd thing online and I report my income/expenses every month. Today, I received a message from a Case Manager reminding me to report my expenses. This seems strange, firstly having a case manager involved and secondly being reminded to report my income/expenses by him when the system automatically reminds me anyway. I’ve got nothing to hide in this respect but it still makes me anxious.

Thanks!

    Hi @do1987

That's a pretty standard message to receive on the NHS app so its nothing to worry about! Sometimes the amount of evidence you send may increase the lowlihood of a paper based assessment but its not guaranteed unfortunately. The message about reporting expenses and income is also routine too and nothing to worry about, hope that puts your mind at ease😊

    Ok thank you @Mary_Scope

With the message regarding reporting income/expenses it’s just that it seems unusual. Because I get an automated message every month anyway. So the fact a Case Manager who I’ve never had contact with before wrote in my journal reminding me to complete it makes me think they’re preparing some sort of attack.

The DWP Case Manager happens to be located very near Maximus (basically the same road) who are carrying out my assessment too so it seems linked.
