Moving from ESA to UC

Hi,
I got my letter a couple weeks ago about moving over to UC. I was thinking of putting in a claim on the 24th July as I get my ESA on the 23rd of July. I read that you get a final ESA payment 2 weeks after you put in your claim, so would I get this payment as usual, for the same amount on the 6th of August as usual? And then is it a 3 week wait from there until I get my UC (so 5 weeks after the initial claim), or is it 5 weeks after my last payment?
I'm just worrying as I have booked a few days away on the 5-8th of August and would like to be sure that I'll get my money that week. If not I can just apply after the holiday but I don't want to wait around too long

Usual forum advice is to apply for UC the day after an ESA payment. This helps ensure the final payment (known as the run on payment) will be for the full amount.
It may not be exactly on 6th August that you receive it, potentially a few days before.
Yes 3 weeks after that (5 after applying for UC) you should receive your first UC payment.
