Notice pay
hi I’ve been off work sick for 3 years I’m on uc, lwrca, pip, I have just had my work contracted terminated on medical grounds, they are paying me notice pay and any holiday pay I’m owed, around £4k how will this affect my uc please

Hi,
I believe this will be treated as earnings, so is likely to reduce your UC award during that assessment period.
If the £4k takes you over £6k in savings, then you will need to declare the savings at the end of the assessment period as well.
