Hello Hope someone can help me. We migrated from WTC last March. I Recieve PIP, my child is claiming Carers allowance(CA), for looking after me. My question is can my partner claim the Carers element (CE) of UC?
I was unaware if I could or not. Can someone claim CA and the CE at the same time. In all honesty they both care for me.
If someone can please help me

The same person cannot have two different people caring for them & claiming associated benefits.
So your child receiving Carers Allowance for looking after you, excludes your partner from claiming Carers Element for looking after you.
