Need help in bidding.

I truly don’t understand the bidding application on council housing.
I applied for 3 flats this week.
and it said my position was like either 4th or 2nd place.
when it came towards the end it still said I was second place and no one else applied to it,
It ended and I watched it, and it said I am 9th place? ****.. how are there so many people on band A and B? Ahead of me? Makes no sense. It just annoys me as I am trying to move out and live a better life. I don’t get it? How is there that many people… ahead of me? When it literally said I was 2nd place. So confused lol. Looks like I’m not moving out.

There are always lots of people all bidding on few properties. Some areas are more desirable than others to live meaning higher demand.
Unfortunately there will always be others in worse circumstances who have been waiting longer.
Last minute bidders could have pushed you back, some Council housing departments move people after bidding has closed (up and down).
Ir happened for me sooner than expected and not on the property I expected to be offered - bidding closed I was 4, housing office moved me to 2 then number 1 dropped out as found somewhere else.
It will happen eventually for you too, you just have to keep going

yeah just sucks tbh. I wanna move out 😩 I hate living where I live but apparently I don’t have enough evidence to back up the abuse we get from neighbours

I totally get that it's so tough waiting when you are desperate to improve your circumstances, but it will happen for you and to end up with a single figure place shows you are getting there 😊
