Dismissal due to ill health payment how will it affect my universal credit

Hi hope someone can help me I've been off work long term sick no longer getting sick pay I'm on universal credit and currently awaiting the outcome of a work capability assessment. I have recently been dismissed on ill health and have recieved a payment off 3000 pound as I worked there for 12 years and I'm worried how this will affect my claim as I'm worried it will end my claim and I will have to start all over again and do WCA all over again any advice greatly appreciated 👏

I'm sorry to hear about your dismissal @shane1990 that's not great news.
With regard to your UC, your claim will not be affected unless the total about of saving now goes over £6k, then your UC would be reduced by a small about.

Thank you I'm just concerned as they have payed me and it has come through on my final payslip so I'm not sure if it will count as earned income for the assessment period meaning I will get nil award next payment but would it then return to normal the month after being as I will be receiving no more income from work ?
