Advice Needed- Awarded 8 Weeks ago

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar with their PIP application. I originally applied for PIP in September 2024 and received the long awaited ‘award’ text message in June 2025. The text message states that it can take up to 2 weeks for the award letter to be delivered. It has since been 6 weeks and I have still not received a letter. I called the enquiry line and got told numerous different things, the first case worker I spoke to told me that no decision has been made and to disregard the text message. The second person I spoke to confirmed that I have been awarded and checked if I am able to receive a large payment, they then told me the payment will be made any day now. The third person I spoke to told me the payment would be made within 3-5 days. It has been a week since the last phone call and I still have received no letter and no payment? The automated line asks me what part of PIP I have been awarded as a security question. Has anyone else experienced this ? I am so confused.

Hey there @izzie113 and a very warm welcome to the community. 😁
Congratulations on the PIP award, but it would be nice if they actually sent the money, so I'm sorry this is happening. They do say it can be up to eight weeks before movement, but I've found it's usually a lot quicker than that. It sounds like an odd one, but have you thought about speaking to your MP about this? They can often get a situation addressed super quick!
