Universal Credit to do list
Hi me again. I am going through the to do list for our daughter. I have a few questions if anyone has any answers or experience it would be appreciated or sign post me to elsewhere.
Do you declare paypal account even with a zero balance and if so where do you do this?
Do you get to explain that you are an appointee and do I have to click on the claimant commitment then explain in the journal that she has an appointee, as I am aware she will not have to do a claimant commitment due to having an appointee ?
Do you have to declare you bank balances every month even under £6000 and in LCWRA group ?
Lastly as an appointee do I put into the journal once its up and running that I will be abroad between certain dates and will not have access to her journal ?
Many Thanks.

I'm not sure about Paypal, but if balance is £0 and is unlikely to be thousands, I don't see the need.
I am appointee for my two sons and I just simply answer messages from myself and if needed I just add that I am the appointee. I'm pretty sure that there may be some work commitments until the WCA is completed, but one of mine was a few years back an so there wasn't a backlog and the other was during lockdown so no one had commitments.
I've often wondered about the money thing myself, but I am assuming that unless you have savings over £6000 it would be pointless to continually update the money in the bank. Mine changes daily.1 -
