I recieved LCWRA on Friday 4th July after my assessment on 20th June I had my 1st fit note of 3 months on the 28th of march and I also had another fit note for 3 months on the 26 June during this period when will I receive my 1st payment of LCWRA

    Hi,

    That was quick. I wouldn't expect any backpay in this case. It does depend on your assessment period dates, but I'd be expecting the first LCWRA payment to be made in August.

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    What date did you report the health condition?

    Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?

    Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA, or have Transitional Protection on your claim?

    Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?
