son's ESA to UC
Can someone please help. I am having to change my son's ESA to UC. Why does it ask if he lives with his sibling, but not parents? Also his sibling claims carers allowance, will this amount be deducted from my son's UC claim? Thank you, all so confusing.

No the siblings Carers Allowance will not be deducted from your son's UC award.
They don't need to know about everyone he lives with, so they only ask relevant questions.
They ask about siblings in case they are dependants of the claimant.
If someone is living with parents, the claimant themselves is a non dependant so UC don't need to know.
