Uc migration problems.
Uc are saying that my partners lcwra status was dropped when he joined my esa claim back in 2021.
He previously had a single claim with esa support group entitlement, until his health deteriorated so that he moved into my home and we claimed as a couple withme being the claimant and ' adding him' to my claim. Is it true that they can just drop his status of work capability when he goes onto my claim. We received full esa. Extra money SDP for both of us, extra because of disability income guarantee. ,£48.50 because of support group. So we had a combined couples payment of £389.20 per week. This amount applies from 10th April 2025.
Because Uc have justified their actions by saying my partner needs fit notes & commitments review etc, because when he moved onto my esa claim , it resulted his lcwra just being effectively dropped / forgotten. We understand that only one lcwra can be payed , but dies that mean he lost his actual lcwra status ?
ITs causing so much upset , anguish and quite frankly an unfair deceptive process of esa/uc migration.
We were not even aware that his lcwra had been dropped , we never have been informed of this, if itis actually true??!
Please help. Clarity will be VERY much appreciated.
