I am the appointee for my son for DWP PIP and universal credit. The universal credit is paid to his bank account every 2 weeks. I log in and monitor this account and make sure it's topped up, so he has money for anything he needs. Someone has said I should not be able to access his bank account. Is that correct?
He has the UC handed to him every 2 weeks as cash because that is his wish.
The PIP goes to my bank account (in my name) in a separate account. I use that to top up his bank account and pay for his phone bill, Netflix, clothes, food and other expenses.
