Help with lwcra,pip,carers please.

Hi. Can someone help me please. I receive higher rate pip on both elements,as well as lwcra,due to life limiting disability. My son has asked to be my carer,he does not claim any benefits whatsoever,he is just leaving college,I could have had a carer for years but have never claimed for this. If he was to claim carers to look after me would this effect my lwcra etc? Thankyou and have a great day!
