Did being sick help my PoTS? Looking for others with experience!

Hiya :)
Long story short, four weeks ago I began having an allergic reaction to a new medication. I was sick almost every day for 2 weeks, 8 days of that was spent in the hospital. I was released from the hospital 2 weeks ago, but my PoTS hasn't been bothering me so much since the reaction! At first I thought it could have been because I was on almost constant sodium/electrolyte drips in the hospital, but as I said I've been home for 2 weeks now. I'm still having symptoms and episodes, but I haven't had to have anywhere near as much salt, electrolytes, compression, etc. to manage it. So I'm wondering if being so ill caused my body to have a bit of a reset or something? Especially given that prior to the reaction, this weather was causing me to collapse nearly every day, and now I haven't collapsed once.
I'd love to hear if anybody has any similar experiences, please!
Thank you :)

Hi @Franxcesca and welcome to the community 😊 It's not something I've experienced myself, but sounds very complex. Hopefully other members can advice.
