UC Review - really stressed out
Hello,
I have had my review. I've been under review since 22nd May. I had a phone call to discuss the review and tell me what to submit like bank statements and my passport and stuff. I did all that. Then I had a phone call that was really invasive and embarrassing about some transactions on my statement.
After that, no one removed the to-do on my to-do list, so it looks like I didn't attend the phone appointment and I definitely did. Now I have to go through it again today. She took ages to get back to me when I queried the original appointment still on my to-do list. When I phoned they wouldn't listen to me and kept saying your appointment was changed and you have to attend the next one. There's even a message on my journal that clearly gets wrong what I said on the journal prior to that.
I deal with psychosis, hearing loss and a couple of other things. This whole thing has been going on so long. It's so stressful. I really don't want to have to go through this again today. I'm so anxious and unhappy. My appointment is in about an hour from posting this.
Has anyone else had this experience? Has anyone else have the DWP just refuse to listen to you or make you attend appointments twice?

hope all went well and you made it clear you have already done this and no one listened this has caused you mental anguish

I'm sorry this has happened @pyjamaviking having to deal with it twice seems very unfair. Was there no record anywhere of you already having the compliance review? If you've already submitted the bank statements etc there should be something surely?

She didn't phone me. When I chased it up, she posted on my journal that she was having technical difficulties and she rebooked the appointment for Monday. :( Now I have to go through this all over again on Monday. I posted asking what it was already about because I've already done the interview and I haven't had a reply yet.

Sorry, you said you'd had a phone call where they asked some personal questions about your bank statements? And previously a call to discuss what you'd need to do before the review? Is that right?
Apologies, but I'm getting a bit confused by the timeline here.

@Albus_Scope Yes, I’ve had 2 phone calls. One about what to send and then the embarrassing one.

embarrassing as in asking who you sent money too on a certain date? And questions about what you have going in and out of the bank?

Yeah, she asked about my vet’s bills and money I’d moved to my savings account. It was really intrusive.

My phone call is today at 2 pm. No one has answered me on my journal as to why this phone call is happening again. :( I don't know what to do.

Hi @pyjamaviking have you had the call now? I hope it went ok.

No, she didn't phone again. I rang them and they just said to put a message on my journal to say I was available but no one phoned, and that I was still available to take a call. They wouldn't help me any more than that, but she did acknowledge that this has happened twice now.
I put a message on my journal and eventually the woman who was supposed to phone me posted back apologising, and she cancelled the appointment because she realised it had been booked in error.
So it's a relief that it's sorted out, but it caused so much stress and anxiety. :(
Thank you everyone who's supported me on this thread. :)
