Can't take anymore

WIth the UC letter arriving . I phoned esa about what group I'm in as I'm to scared to phone and the number said wait until contacted. I spoke to someone who said they received it back last Jan and haven't a record apart from LCW from 2019 when I had my tribunal. So she's getting in touch with the benefits office who will find out wants going on. Honestly I've been in tears. Got bad headache and just can't cope with this and with UC finding all the the documents.

Hi @Andi66 bless you, it sounds like you've had a bit of a nightmare but it's good that you've managed to hear back from someone and they're going to look into this for you. Hopefully once they come back, it'll help put your mind at ease. Is there anything you can do to keep yourself somewhat distracted whilst you wait to hear back? Maybe find something interesting on the television (that always help me anyway 🙂).

Yes, I wish I was brave enough to do it before. But anything to do with the dwp fills me with dread.

That's understandable @Andi66. I hope it's a bit more smooth sailing for you from now on.

I hope so, and they do look at it, in time before 2 week on Nov 7th

In my experience, calling these departments only causes mass confusion at their end.
I would just concentrate on filling in the online form, and and waiting for access to your journal, to ask any pertinent questions you may have.

It's just I don't know what group I'm in, as they hadn't put anything on from the esa 50 I sent in last year. Only had 2019 results from the tribunal. They don't know what there doing. They should of kept Uc back to 28/29 year date . Instead they are bringing out all range of things ,and we suffer the consequences

Are you not able to determine your group by what they are paying you?

Sadly it's possible your ESA50 hasn't been actioned yet in terms of a WCA.
Are you able to check with the assessment provider?
I do know a friend has been waiting an extremely long time after sending in her form (also gets LCW). Not quite as long as you, but not far off now. She's now migrated to UC.

I get the special disability amount.

That doesn't narrow it down.
If you subtract £163 (two weeks SDP) from your fortnightly ESA payment, how much is left?

I sent loads of evidence with it. And when I was at the doctors recently it had on screen a form from the jobcentre about my conditions dated last April.

£227.30 a fortnight

I get £392.30 . Esa with the disability s fortnight as I get pip as well. I got pip after the tribunal in 2020

If you were first awarded ESA WRAG in 2019 then your payment is broken down as follows:
£92.05 + 92.05 (Personal Allowance)
£21.20 +21.20 (Enhanced Disability Premium)
£82.90 + 82.90 (Severe Disability Premium)
= £392.30
As you can see no Support Group component, and any awards of WRAG after April 2017 don't pay any extra money (a WRAG component).
So you are still in WRAG, and it seems your WCA hasn't been completed and is still outstanding (just like my friend).

I get £92.05 living expenses
Extra money, severely disabled £82.90 a week and £21.20 which is £196.15

It's Lcw that's what the tribunal said. I haven't had to send any fit notes for years.

As I mentioned yesterday, the esa person on the phone said my esa50 will be flagged up as urgent by the benefit centre. Is that where they decide? They have contacted my doctors last year as it was on my notes when I went for my copd review a month ago

The form goes to the assessment provider. The benefit center are probably able to chase them up.
I did provide a link to find & contact the assessment provider yourself if that's an option.

Hmm, considering your already on LCW im surprised they didnt add the £48.50 a week considering your already getting the EDP & SDP
