Pip

hi, I applied for pip in June and on 18th Aug I got a call from the assessor saying it’s a brief call and they’ll book face to face appointment for me but then asking my condition and medication questions she said that she has got all the info needed and do not need face to face approval now and wait for the claim letter.
Im not sure what will be the outcome? Can someone suggest something please
Thank you

It seems like you've had a paper based assessment, which is where the assessor feels they have sufficient information with minimal or even no further input from the claimant.
Official timescales for an outcome once DWP receive the report are anything up to 12 weeks.

That's not something we can answer with any certainty from here.
