UC Dental treatment

Hello all,

My brother in law and sister migrated from family tax credits last Oct. He has very life limiting conditions and she is his carer also caring for children,the youngest is 2 yrs old.

Today she was charged for a dental xray. Is this correct? If it helps they are in Northern Ireland.

NHS dentist, and they have the health certificate to pay for costs .I'll surely send her the info. Thank you.

Some dentists don't claim from NHS, it's up to the patient to pay & claim a refund themselves.

@Kimi87 I just know she was her usual dentist, the same ones she's been with 18 years. I did mention she may need to claim it back as I thought as much myself. Didn't charge her for a filling,just the xray. Thanks.
