My hubby got this today. Does this mean he will have an assessment? He's gone in full panic mode and just had a seizure he's so stressed. Tyia

Hey @snuggles65 I'm sorry to hear your hubby had a seizure, is he ok now?
This is a perfectly normal text to receive, it just means the DWP have passed the information on to them to decide if an assessment is needed or not. This happens with all of our PIP applications and reviews.

    Hi

He's so stressed. He's just crying I'm trying to calm him down

I didn't realise they sent it out to capita. I thought If DWP couldn't decide then they sent it out to health assessment advisory service for you to have an assessment so it still could be paper based? Thank you

Capita is the health assessment agency handling his claim.

Capita will now decide what type of assessment he has, paper, telephone or in person.

    Hi thanks kimi87

I'm putting a letter together just incase he as to have a f2f to send to capita. I've also emailed my MP and also waiting for a call back from his epilepsy nurse.

It will cause him psychological stress and anxiety.

He had a seizure today when I was upstairs I heard the lifeline go, I got downstairs he was just about to leave the house. He lost is memory started to cry and lash out because didn't know who I was or where he was.
