Hi I need help please. I got awarded LCWRA, am I entitled to any back payment please?

Hi, i just need some helping working out the 3 month period thing and if I’ll get any back payment please for LCWRA? I got awarded LCWRA on 29th August 2025 which I’m very happy about. My first fit note was accepted on 30th April 2025. My UC payment date is the 17th, which my first LCWRA payment has been addressed to that but nothing about a back payment. I’m wondering if I’m entitled to any? I can’t work it out. I thought I’d be entitled to 1 day off a months worth but if someone could help me figure it out I’d really appreciate it! Thank you ☺️

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    UC do not do partial payments.

    My estimate of your waiting period based on the information given:

    April/May: Partial Assessment Period not counted for waiting period

    May/June: AP 1

    June/July: AP 2

    July/August: AP 3

    August/September: Eligible for LCWRA element

    September 17th: First LCWRA element paid.

    No backpay due.
