What was the date you:
Reported health condition
Gave the first Fit Note to UC
Is your AP 18th to 17th?

I need to know also the exact date you reported the health condition.

I literally stopped working on the 22nd April and handed sick note in the next day. I already had started the basic uc claim beforehand, as I knew I wasn't going to be able to work much longer if that makes sense.

I'm not going to be able to advise about your question, without being sure of what date you reported the health condition to UC.

I reported it on the 23rd of april. They have said it the award is from that date? It's so confusing haha!

Thank you.
LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is paid. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
As you reported health condition and handed in first Fit Note within 7 days at the beginning of an AP, my estimate of your waiting period would be:
April/May AP 1
May/June AP 2
June/July AP 3
July /August Eligible for LCWRA element
August 23rd: First LCWRA element paid.
I estimate you are owed one month LCWRA element in backpay.
Backpay is calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least.
You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days.
