Hi,
You still have to accept commitments, such as agreeing to update them of any changes, even if you don't have any work related requirements. This is completely normal for everyone moving to UC.

Thanks, I already be liar to ask they made me going it for a ID check , said they couldn't do it over the phone, so did it in a quite room , the agent remark at end ,you could have done that out the front, which took my breathe away s it took everything a had to get thought the interview , was ill for days leading up to , I just worried she would have put something on my file

When did you apply for UC?
It can take some time for ESA to communicate your previous award with UC, and have the UC equivalent applied to your claim.
This is usually but not always, done in time for your first payment statement.

Mine was quite laid back, just had to show further Id like nhs card, bank card etc. Was pointless in ways as the phonecall I answered questions only I could know the answer to

Your ESA status will transfer and automatically entitle you to the UC equivalent.
The person who did your ID check can't override that.
There is still time for your ESA status to be confirmed before next Thursday, if that happens the appointment should be cancelled and you might be asked to agree commitments via Journal. Your only commitment will be to keep them informed of any changes.
