I recently removed my eldest child from my claim as she has moved away to Uni. This leaves 2 children on my claim. I did the change on Friday 12th September and I'm still waiting on UC to re verify my 2 remaining children who were already on my claim before. My statement is due Wednesday 24th. I'm at the end of my assessment period. If the children aren't verified in time does this mean I wont receive my child element and all other elements too? I work for perspective so if they believe I have no eligible children and I'm single person alone it's my understanding that I wouldn't be entitled to anything.

If you have a zero award this AP and the children are later re verified, UC will recalculate your award once this has happened and add a letter onto your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days.

They’ve just verified one child just now. Waiting on my son now.
