Esa migration iam in support group on I belive contribution based
 
            Can some one please share opinion ive got severe anxiety etc. Had a universal credit migration notice never worked. Been told iam on income based esa not contribution based what I thought used to be on incapacity iam 41 was on benefits I think at 18 or 17 never worked worried as don't want no money I recive 4 hundred and 80 a fortnight esa and pip 7 40 a month what group is it can't find old letter

            Hi @jimmyshungrysteve, welcome to the community. If you are receiving that amount of ESA it's likely you are in the support group as you say. You may also be receiving some disability premiums. In the ESA support group, you'd be receiving up to £140.55 each week (so up to £281.10 a fortnight) This is a guide to how much the premiums are on top of that: As you are in the support group, it will usually mean that you'll migrate over into the Limited Capability for Work and Related Activity group once your Universal Credit claim is complete. You may also receive some transitional protection. There's some information about that on the Scope website if you'd like to read it: PIP is slightly different and won't change once you migrate. But it sounds like you may be receiving the higher rates for both the mobility and daily living parts. I hope that's helpful ☺️ 0
