Hi @Terri34, as Kimi87 says, there's no new information about New Style ESA at the moment. The government are reviewing the PIP process, but we won't hear about the results until next year.

If we hear more about any changes to benefits, we'll be sure to put up some information as soon as we know ☺️

No need to be sorry @Terri34, it's all up in the air at the moment and it's pretty worrying if you know you might be affected. Hopefully we'll be able to give some more solid advice soon ☺️

PIP is not earnings related so if you feel you meet the criteria, then apply. I believe you may also be entitled to New Style ESA even if you have savings, providing you have paid enough national insurance in the past 2-3 years, but it may be time limited. Too much in savings mainly affects Universal Credit. Seek advice and clarification from Citizens Advice or your Council's Welfare Right.s
